XENATEC'S 008 MAYBACH 57S COUPE IN MINT CONDITION

The older generation of people might know Maybach as a prestigious luxury marque in the 1920's - 1930's. The Maybach SW38 was a strong (maybe better) alternative to other German luxury cars of that era like the Horch 853A and Mercedes-Benz 540K. Not many people remember the Maybach's of this era because they are rare. Not a lot of them were made and in the 1940's the manufacturer continued producing only engines for military, rail and marine purposes.
If you think a Maybach 57 S is not special enough to satisfy your luxury needs: Here we have a 57 S Xenatec Cruisero Coupé. Xenatec was a German coachbuilder mainly specialized in making armored Maybach sedans. They had plans for making 200 Cruisero Coupe's but they only built 8 before filing for bankruptcy. This particular example is the last one produced, number 008.

It's still a Maybach and with the highest level of detail and finish Xenatec confirms that. It is the ultimate luxury coupe. In a car like this, you don't take the wheel yourself. Instead, you hire a chauffeur and relax in one of the two lounge seats in the back. Here, you indulge in all the luxury and comfort, complete with two headphones, a refrigerator between the seats, a foldable table, silver champagne glasses, a panoramic roof, multimedia system and even acces to a car phone. Your driver has assistance as well: Active cornering lights, adaptive cruiser control, parking sensors and a microphone with speaker to communicate to outside the car.

It is an 'S', that means the later, more powerful version of the 57. It has 6,0 L BiTurbo V12 with 612 horsepower. And even though the car weighs more than 2,7 tonnes, it is capable of going too 100km/h in only 5 seconds! Imagine feeling the 1000Nm of torque catapulting you to a stunning 275 km/h!

This Maybach is a true collector item. It's very rare that a car like this comes up for sale, especially considering this is believed to be the only one with complete registration and paperwork.

This 57S base was produced in 2007. In 2010 the built was finished in the Xenatec factory and the Maybach was registered for the first time with a Xenatec vin-number. This particular car, number 008, was bought by famous soccer player Samuel Eto'o and registered in Luxembourg.In 2021 the car was imported to the Netherlands by a car dealer and shortly after it was registered by the current owner, also in the Netherlands. In its current ownership, the car has been stored inside while connected to a battery charger.The car is offered for sale in February 2024. The condition of the car is very good and the car has been completely polished in our workshop.
The option list of this Maybach is also present with the documentation, together with a lot of other paperwork, maintenance history, book, scarf, toolkit, battery charger, suitcase, gloves. It is believed to be the most complete Maybach Xenatec Coupé.
