Popis vozidla
Volkswagen Golf GTI MkII, built in 1988
– Very well-maintained condition
– Freshly painted in "Tornado Red"
– 16-inch BBS alloy wheels
– New Michelin tires
– Iconic car
The 1.8-liter Golf GTI with 112 hp
sprints to 100 km/h in 8.6 seconds, and cornering is a joy. Many examples have been heavily used over the years, so it's becoming increasingly difficult to find a nice, original example.
BODY/PAINT
The example we are offering is a very well-preserved Golf. Only a subtle lowering was carried out later. Recently painted in the beautiful, vibrant red "Tornado Red," the Golf is still in excellent condition. The color harmonizes beautifully with the characteristic red GTI details. The excellent cosmetic condition testifies to the careful previous owners. This example shows no rust; most likely, the car has always been free of welds and damage. The paintwork shows no significant scratches or dents, except for a small scratch on the sunroof. The black body panels are also intact and unweathered. The windows and headlights are as good as new. The 15-inch BBS alloy wheels are in excellent condition and show no curb rash.
INTERIOR
The interior is reminiscent of the 1980s: everything is functional and solid. The signature "golf ball" gearshift lever is a distinctive detail.
Detail. Thanks to the sunroof, you can enjoy the sun. The four GTI floor mats are undamaged, as are the front and rear upholstery. The headliner is in good condition. The interior features a radio/CD player with a USB port and is in excellent condition: we could not find any defects. The trunk is also in excellent condition.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
The engine compartment also looks dry, clean, and fresh. There is no visible rust here, and the rubber seals are fresh and not dried out. There is no maintenance documentation included, but given the overall condition, it is safe to assume that the car has been well maintained.
Many things have been replaced recently!
The car starts, drives, and shifts perfectly. The four Michelin Pilot Sport 3 tires are new. In short: a very nice example that will give you pleasure to drive.
DOCUMENTATION
The VW was delivered on May 11, 1988, and was recently imported from Belgium. German owner's manuals and service booklets are included with the vehicle. The vehicle is currently registered in Belgium.
The vehicle is located in the Netherlands.
Import to Germany is possible without any problems!
We can also arrange nationwide delivery at a reasonable price.
Please call or send us a message.
Kind regards, Alroy Classics
